GREENKEEPER
Thames Golf Club is situated at the gateway to the Coromandel. The golf course has been significantly improved over the past few years and is in great condition.
We are looking to recruit a self-motivated, sole charge Greenkeeper, as our current Greenkeeper will be moving on soon.
Looking for that next job, with a great lifestyle, and part of a friendly group of golfers and volunteers on the mighty Coromandel, this could be the role for you.
This will be a full time position of 40 hours a week, plus some weekends as required.
Job Summary
The Greenkeeper is responsible for the maintenance of the golf course and grounds to a high standard providing members of the Thames Golf Club with the best possible playing conditions, working with volunteers; and utilising machinery and tools within the budgetary constraints set out by the board.
You will also be likely have the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years working on a golf course, with level 3-4 qualification
- Experience with Rainbird irrigation
- Grow Safe and approved handlers certificate preferred
- Ability to operate and maintain a range of machinery and equipment
- A good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
- A team player, who can work well with others and independently
- Ability to work occasional weekends as required
- Can work in all weather conditions
- A keen eye for detail
- A clean drivers license
