Congratulations to the Team from Royal Auckland & Grange Golf Club on their victory in the 2018 CEO Trophy event, played at Cambridge Golf Club yesterday in near perfect conditions for Winter Golf!

The CEO Trophy is an annual event played between Waikato, Auckland, North Harbour and Bay of Plenty. The top champion pennants teams from these regions all compete to be crowned the CEO Trphy Champions. 

With only 2 points separating Royal Auckland & Grange from Muriwai at the half way mark, it made for an exciting spectacle in the afternoon, however a strong round of 68 (40 Points) and 71 (37 Points) from Andrew Webber and Jared Edwards respectively, proved to be the difference in the final tally.

Tauranga squeezed Walton out in the race for 3^rd spot with a slim 2 point margin following the 2 Rounds.

Special mention and Congratulations to David Somervaille from Royal Auckland & Grange on his ACE at the 6^th hole during the morning foursomes round, although we were told that it was his 5^th Hole in One, so not such a rarity for David!! Well done all the same to David!
